Creocote – Although no longer a HSE approved wood preservative this ‘creosote substitute’ is now marketed as a gas oil based timber treatment. Soaks in deep to penetrate smooth and sawn timbers. It has the same smell and colour to the previous products and remains very economical, popular and effective.
