Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

Making a Payment. We accept credit card payment. The billing address and delivery address must be the same, If you would like to change the delivery address (UK only) please contact us so we can arrange this.

We accept Visa and Mastercard. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped.

Transactions are dealt with HSBC secure e-payments system and PAYPAL, all transactions go through their secure servers.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, incase we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Manufactuers change item design and description frequently and as such we cannot be held responsbile for such changes. Where possible we will always try to exchange or refund.

Returns: Any carriage handling costs will be undertaken by the sender of those goods.

Shipping And Handling All our shipping is carried out by DHL, FedEx and ROYAL MAIL and as such any damage through delivery is covered by their shipping and handling policies.

Standard delivery charge service - delivery within 5 working days subject to stock

24 hour delivery charge service - delivery within 24 hours on orders placed between Monday and Thursday, subject to stock

In store collection - we are open between 9.00am and 5pm Monday to Saturday. Please bring your receipt as proof of purchase.

By signing the receipt of order you are accepting the terms and conditions of the sale.

For deliveries defined by selecting postcodes on the product page, installation consists of our 2 person delivery team installing your new item to your exsisting system. This does not include any extra cables or fixings that maybe required. We do not carry out any carpentry work that maybe required for installation, this includes removale of doors to gain access to your premises. Drop Off Only orders consist of our delivery team bringing the item to your door and not into the premises. Any orders with delivery addresses placed outside the selectable postcodes will be cancelled. You will be contacted via phone to arrange a suitable time and day for delivery.

Orders placed between 12pm Friday until 12pm Monday will be shipped where possible on the Monday afternoon.

All collections from our premises take place in the afternoon.

Stock Levels.

Due to the huge range of products available it’s inevitable some items will be temporarily out of stock, in this case you will be contacted if the delay is likely to exceed 7 working days.

Delivery Schedule We aim to deliver your order right away. Order processing takes place within 2 working days of date of order received and shipment usually occurs within 3. Our usual delivery time to your door is 72hrs.

We make every effort to deliver goods within the estimated timescales, however delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen factors. 4-the-home shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver the products within estimated timescales.

Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges For orders made from the UK 17.5% VAT is added.

Credit Card Security When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Reaching Us If you need to reach us, please email us using the link on the store page, we no longer use our phone line as we cannot answer every call due to running a busy store. Emailing us is the best way to guarantee a response.
